David & Anita Wedding

Wow. I have so  much I can say about these two. I am so happy I was able to be a part of their special day. You may remember their engagement photos from one of my blogs earlier this fall. David and Anita are such a great couple. Anita is one of the most bubbly and fun people I have ever met, and David is quiet, but he totally cracks me up. I've had so many laughs with these two! The bridal party for this wedding totally rocked it outside in the cold on the big day... girls you are rockstars for braving the cold in your dresses!
David and Anita, I wish you all the best in your future and I can't wait until I get the call regarding maternity and newborn photos :)

Baby Emma - Newborn session

Baby Emma. She is just the sweetest little thing I have ever seen!! (maybe its because she is my best friend's little one, but I just think she is PERFECT!) Emma was pretty good for this session, she was awake for most of it and we had to stop for a feeding break a couple of times, but that is normal for a newborn session. Emma made this so easy for me, because she is just so darn cute!! I can't wait to watch this little one grow up, and I know I will be there to capture a lot of special moments in her life..... next is family pics!!

Baby M

I had so much fun with this session. Little baby M was so sweet and laid back. She was super easy for me to pose and move around and slept pretty good through the whole session. According to her gorgeous mom, the old wive's tale about heart burn is true! Here are some of my favorite images from that day: 

Lindsey & Dave Part II

Lindsey & Dave -- maternity

This session was very personal to me. Lindsey is my best friend. Her and Dave have been trying to get pregnant for a long time, and I can still remember the day she told me. I am so excited to be "Aunty Bestey" and to watch their little girl Emma grow up. Lindsey is very artistic and she has tried teaching Dave to paint. I remember one time going to their house and seeing Dave's latest attempt at a painting -- it was a canvas with writing on it: "I say 'f' this" -- or something of that nature. It made me laugh, because he has such a great sense of humor, which you will see below. This blog is a little different.... it's a bit of a "story".... enjoy!

Baby Jemma

Meet adorable baby Jemma. Jemma's beautiful mom Sasha was given a photo session with me as a baby shower gift by her friend Brandi (great shower gift right??!!)

There is nothing I love more than getting asked to take newborn photos, it's such an amazing thing to be invited into someone's home to take pictures of (and of course sneak some snuggles in) someone's brand new baby. Jemma was so good for us, although she didn't sleep the entire time, which is something that makes my job a little easier!  We even convinced Jemma's big brother to get in for a few pics, although it might have taken a little bit of bribing :)

Jolene

Jolene and I decided to do something a little different for her family photos, so we headed to the beach -- in October! It was perfect, there was nobody there except for us and her adorable little girls had a great time playing in the sand and on the playground equipment. I love just following kids around while they play, I end up with the cutest shots! Jolene I had a great time with you and your girls, and remember.... next time you want a good picture of Shelby, just "yell" at her like I did!  I hope you enjoy your family photos!
